What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutritional science to promote optimal health. It aims to identify nutritional imbalances and how these may contribute to symptoms of ill-health. The Nutritional Therapist works with people on an individual basis to develop a diet to support optimal health and well being.
What can Nutritional Therapy offer?
Some people may wish to use nutritional advice to help protect their future health, or to improve towards optimal performance. Others may want to address symptoms of ailments or chronic conditions. Nutritional Therapy recognizes that each person is unique and will need a nutrition plan personalized just for them.
What could you expect from a consultation?
Full details of your current diet and medical history will be taken via a self-completed questionnaire. The consultation process will then:
- Explain how nutrition imbalances may be affecting on your health conditions
- Work in collaboration to design a healthier eating plan
- Monitor and support you as you adapt
- Provide personalized advice on diet and lifestyle changes
- Recommend nutritional supplements or tests if needed
